The Cinnamon Club is delighted to support Mosaic, HRH The Prince of Wales’ mentoring charitable initiative that creates opportunities for young people of all backgrounds growing up in our most deprived communities. The Apax-Mosaic Enterprise challenge is a national competition for secondary school students across the UK, designed to develop and encourage their entrepreneurial skills.
Following the launch of this year’s Enterprise Challenge as part of The Prince’s Seeing is Believing programme, delegates including Executive Chef and Mosaic supporter Vivek Singh, travelled to Mansion House to meet the newly-inaugurated Lord Mayor of London Roger Gifford who was in his first week of office. The Lord Mayor and delegates then had the opportunity to meet with some of Mosaic’s experienced mentors who all combine busy careers in the City with volunteering as a Mosaic mentor.
Earlier in the year Executive Chef & Mosaic Supporter, Vivek Singh hosted the first of many World of Work visits at The Cinnamon Club, giving students a real insight into the restaurant industry.
On Thursday 21st March, The Cinnamon Club will be hosting a celebratory lunch for the winning team of the Enterprise Challenge.
