The Secret Spice Garden Sprouts Up at The Cinnamon Club for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

In celebration of this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we will be hosting a spectacular Secret Spice Garden pop-up, sprouting up from Monday 22nd May until Sunday 28th May 2017.

During London’s most prestigious flower show, The Cinnamon Club’s mezzanine gallery dining room will be transformed into a whimsical oasis filled with beautiful wild Vanda orchids and tropical palm leaves cascading along the walls whilst suspended glass orbs with wild flowers from around the world will hang from the ceiling, creating an enchanting sensory experience. Step into the iconic restaurant located in this historic Grade II-listed Old Westminster Library and be transported to an exotic botanical garden in India adorned with flourishing flora and fauna, fragrant ficus trees, and fresh flowers throughout the restaurant.

Chef Rakesh Nair has created an innovative floral-inspired five-course tasting menu, priced at £48 per person, that will infuse edible flowers and wild-spices into modern-Indian dishes. Expect delights such as Kadhai spiced English asparagus alongside Spiced Devon crab and rocket salad, followed by a refreshing palate cleanser of lime and mint sorbet with Dushi button crumble. You can also tuck into a fragrant smoked loin of Romney Marsh lamb and finish off with a delicate Alphonso mango fondant with Jasmine petal for dessert.

Our talented bar manager Nicholas Smith, has also devised a Secret Spice Garden cocktail range served in mini honey pots garnished with botanicals guaranteed to excite the senses of any avid gardener. Cocktails include For Bees Sake, a zingy drink made with Pisco, lemon, honey, camomile, turmeric and apple, plus for every For Bees Sake cocktail ordered, The Cinnamon Club will donate £1 toward the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

Or unwind with a Garden Julep, a refreshing tipple made with vodka, thyme, peppermint and lime served in a traditional julep mug topped with fresh herbs. Or for those who prefer a mocktail, enjoy a Herb & Tonic, an herbaceous blend of Seedlip Garden 108, tonic and herbs.

The Secret Spice Garden menu and cocktail range will be available throughout the restaurant for lunch and dinner from Monday 22nd May until Sunday 28th May. Bloomin’ brilliant!
