The Retro Menu Returns Home: One Final Chance to Dine Like It’s 2001
When we launched our Retro Menu at The Cinnamon Club earlier this year, we knew it would spark a little nostalgia. What we didn’t expect was quite how quickly it would become one of the most talked-about moments of our 25th anniversary celebrations.
For two weeks in January, guests joined us to revisit dishes from our early years, all served at their original 2001 prices. Tables filled quickly, favourite dishes made a welcome return and, for many, it became an opportunity to relive memories of visits gone by while introducing a new generation to the restaurant’s history.
Since then, the Retro Menu has travelled across the Cinnamon Collection, bringing a taste of 2001 to guests throughout London. Now, as our 25th anniversary celebrations continue, the menu is coming home.
This August, The Retro Menu returns to The Cinnamon Club for a final two-week residency, giving guests one last opportunity to experience some of the dishes that helped shape the restaurant’s journey over the past quarter of a century.
Missed out in January? This is your chance. Expect a selection of classic Cinnamon Club dishes, served at the same prices they were when we first opened our doors in 2001. It’s a rare opportunity to experience the flavours, creativity and spirit that helped redefine modern Indian dining in Britain.
Already joined us for the Retro Menu earlier this year? We think you’ll want to come back. This final edition includes additional dishes and new additions not featured during the January launch, giving returning guests something fresh to discover while still celebrating the nostalgia of the original concept.
Twenty-five years is a milestone few restaurants achieve. The Retro Menu has always been about more than looking back; it’s about celebrating the guests, team members and moments that have helped make The Cinnamon Club what it is today.
The final stop on the tour is also your final chance to experience it.
